MFC is Hiring: Key Account Executive – Contract Logistics (3PL)!
We are looking for a Key Account Executive (3PL) to join the MFC Contract Logistics Team. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the 3PL industry, a strong background in logistics, warehousing, and distribution, and excellent leadership and analytical skills, we want to hear from you. A minimum of a graduation degree is required, with further qualifications being a plus.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise
- Must be well conversant with Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution processes.
- Logical understanding of WMS structure
- Good understanding of QHSSE / JAFZ Customs regulations / INCO Terms / HACCP / TRAI / Regional regulatory standards
- Multimodal transport / sea, air and land freight.
Key Account Management
- Serve as the primary enabler for the key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with the customers understanding their needs and expectation.
- Coordinate with external and internal stake holders to ensure fast and accurate completion of customer tasks in hand.
- The position requires flexibility in working hours depending on customer requirements and timelines.
Leadership and People management
- Must have experience of managing direct reports, 3 to 5 people.
- Natural flair to lead a team with confidence and compassion
* Process Optimization
- Analyse current logistics process and find opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Implement best practices for routine planning, inventory management, order processing, and transportation to improve customer experience meeting the customer requirements.
- Identify & work on automation of routine jobs to remove unproductive work & to enhance customer experience.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintaining tracker of customer export and import orders.
- Prepare and analyse data related to key account operations.
- Prepare and present reports to the senior management highlighting customer performance, area of improvement, issues affecting operational efficiency, unproductive work, new scope of work requested by the customer, recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor key account health, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and proactively prevent issues before customers raise a concern.
- Sharing weekly reports to the management.
Identifying problems and finding resolutions
- Address and resolve issues related to key account operation within agreed timeline.
- Any delay, products damage, and discrepancies to be addressed to management, also ensuring the corrective measures are in place so the same mistake is not repeated.
- Understanding the customer's character, anticipating their concerns, and proactively finding resolutions in advance.
- Understanding of MFC and the customer's objectives and enabling the resolution that balances the needs of both.

- Proficiency in logistics software, Excel, Word, and preparing presentations.
