We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Freight, to join the MFC Freight Team. This role will include the following responsibilities:

 

  • Present and sell full range of MFC’s Freight products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare proposals based on the customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate department Managers.
  • Liaise with customer services team to ensure we achieve customer’s satisfaction.
  • Prepare pre-plans and update Customer Management system after each sales visit.
  • Liaise with credit control department and follow-up for collection of payment.
  • Ensure KPIs and budget as defined by Management are achieved.
  • Participate in sales meetings, attend trade exhibitions in UAE.

 

The Applicant should be capable of working independently and pro-active and have good networking skills. 

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Freight forwarding knowledge in Multimodal Transportation.
  • Good knowledge of Project Cargo Sales.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
  • Excellent communication skills.

We are looking for a Coordinator – Operations (Sea Freights - Customer Service) to join the MFC Sea Services Team. 

The role will include the following responsibilities:
•    Single point of contact for assigned customer accounts and guarantee satisfaction and value for our customers.
•    Manage Sea import, export & cross-trades, prepare and follow up quotations, and identify and build ‘Suspect Lists’ for campaigns.
•    Liaise/coordinate with the sales team, partners/agents, customers, and other service providers and update all live data in CRM as appropriate.
•    Assist in preparation of weekly/monthly reports and statistical figures on bookings, volumes, and revenue as well as customer ranking.
•    Attend to customer questions, complaints, and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution.         
•    Support customers through service, education, and effective problem-solving.
•    Making cold calls to new and existing customers to promote the company services and secure appointments and pass leads to the Salesperson to have customer visit.

The Applicant should have Experience in:
•    Minimum 03 -05 years experience in Sea Freight Operational process/Customer Service ideally within a Freight Forwarding industry in the UAE.

Qualifications:      Graduate/Diploma

Container Inspector – Container Depot Service

We are looking for a Containers Inspector with IICL certification to join our MFC Container Depot Services Team. The role will include all responsibilities related to Container inspection, Surveying, and providing timely repair estimates to the clients. This will include the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a valid IICL certification to issue CSC certificates and carry out all repair-related activities for containers.
  • Survey of incoming containers and upload repair estimates on ERP.
  • Timely reporting of repair estimates(mail/edi) to clients and getting approvals to proceed with repairs.
  • Justifying repair estimates with supporting technical and pictorial evidence as required by clients.
  • Coordination with the repair supervisor on repair lists in order to deliver the targeted TEU output every day.
  • Updating repair, survey, inventory, and other related activities on ERP.
  • Ensuring stock reports are sent to clients in coordination with the depot team.
  • Maintaining proper records, repair tariff, material cost, manpower allocation, and consumables control
  • Ensuring no error in billing caused by Late EDI submissions or incorrect updates on repair and gate moves.
  • Making sure repair profitability is maintained in all jobs.
  • Adhere to a strict ISO- 9001:2015 work environment.

Essential criteria:

  • Valid IICL Dry Van Inspector Certification
  • Minimum 02 years’ experience in this field
  • Clear written and verbal skills in English

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the MFC Contract Logistics Team. This role will include the following responsibilities:

 

  • Arrange collection of documents from clients for proceeding with import/export operations.
  • Open appropriate job files and update Warehouse Management System with accurate data.
  • Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law process.
  • Prepare Good Received/Issued notes and send to principals/customers.
  • Negotiate freight/transport rate with approved suppliers.
  • Maintain direct contact with principals/customers to draft scope of work.
  • Arrange collection of documents to process customs formalities.
  • Maintain job files with all relevant documents for reference purpose.
  • Update Warehouse Management System with relevant information.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure execution of prompt service.
  • Follow ISO manual procedures related to Warehousing and Distribution.
  • Ensure proper care of company-owned/issued equipment/items and resources.
  • Maintain stock reports for respective customers.

We are looking for a Reefer Container Technician, to join the MFC Container Solutions (Depot Services) Team. This role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance procedures on refrigeration units (such as Carrier, Daikin, Thermo King.) to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and service components like compressors, coils, electrical systems, and other relevant parts.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration systems on containers.
  • Identify faulty components (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, motors) and determine necessary repairs.
  • Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
  • Perform tasks such as compressor replacements, coil repairs, and electrical system fixes.
  • Monitor the temperature of cargo stored in refrigerated containers.
  • Ensure that the reefer containers maintain the desired temperature range.
  • Conduct plug and unplug operations for reefer containers (both chillers and freezers).
  • Manage data cables and ensure proper connections.
  • Record any exemptions or issues related to reefer containers.
  • Communicate relevant information to supervisor or relevant parties.
  • Attend onsite issues or repairs as per MFC customer requirements.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Reefer Container Repair Works.
