MFC Extreme moves a single-point mooring buoy
MFC Extreme recently moved a single-point mooring buoy, marking the second mooring buoy project of the year. The mooring buoy was transported from the manufacturing site to Jebel Ali Port, where it was loaded onto a barge for its onward journey. The 170 MT and 10.3-meter-high buoy was moved on SPMTs in the middle of the night. The MFC Extreme team coordinated with authorities to close roads, make route modifications, and handle customs clearance. Along with the buoy, MFC Extreme also moved its accessories, such as anchors, hoses, and shackles, on a convoy of 36 trailers.
